about kristina m. ferris
Kristina currently works at the Dutch Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) as Coordinator of Share-Net, the network of sexual health, reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS organizations in the Netherlands. At KIT, she is also involved in the Health Insurance for the Poor platform, HIP.

Krissy previously completed, with honors, her MSc in Gender, Sexuality, and Society at the University of Amsterdam (2008). Her Master's thesis, entitled "Educating the Youth: A Content Analysis of Straight Talk Newspaper" is available upon request. During her year of study in the Netherlands, she was largely supported by a Fulbright Fellowship. Krissy is also Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Oberlin College (2007), where she majored in Religion and minored in Politics.
